Second Chance's Viento

Biography

This handsome young colt came to our attention when Second Chance received a call from his owner who informed us he had a feral colt that had been left behind on his property by the previous owners and he couldn't keep as he was working overseas and if we didn't remove the animal within two days he would be destroyed. One of SC's Field Officers went out to investigate the situation and discovered that the colt was the result of a whim breeding and had never been handled in his life. He was unwanted yet full of promise and she was also informed that the owner had tried to give him away previously however had no luck as the people wanting him did not have the experience to handle him safely, couldn't even catch him and had given up and left him behind.

So now he's recieved initial halter training and been safely transported to his new home and some intensive work shall begin on him over the next few weeks to desensitize and prepare him for a life as a riding horse and pet. What a stellar dressage and Pony Club mount he could become with his gorgeous movement and willingness to learn!
