Tarquin
Second Chance's Tarquin |
|
Biography |
Tarquin's owners surrendered him to us after a visit to their place of agistment and then a call to the owners themselves by the RSPCA to give them their options, one of which was to contact us to discuss his surrender into our care. His owners had him on DIY agistment but he was not receiving the daily care he needed so badly. He was emaciated, weak and his owners had been riding him until quite recently, even jumping him in this condition. The last time his owners saw him, rather than leaving feed for him they left just one bag of Burger Rings because "He likes them". Tarquin went immediately into intensive care and within 2 months was completely unrecognisable.
Within 4 months he was in immaculate condition and after 5 months with us was Adopted to a previous owner who was horrified to find what had happened to him. Tarquin has since been returned to Second Chance and has been adopted once again. |
