Biography |
This poor little pony was surrendered to Second Chance after his owner contacted us asking for help to give him the best possible chance at having a happy, healthy life. His story as we know it was that he was running feral somewhere until around August 2008. He was captured and castrated, and then between January and July 2009 he went through the Horse Auctions three times! His current owner bought him as he was advertised as a child's pony at the sale only to find he was simply terrified of everyone and much too dangerous for any child to handle or ride. It seems he isn't even broken in and has had very little handling. It is expected that this little fellow will be in long term foster care because this level of fear can take years to be overcome.
