Second Chance's Patience

Biography

Patience is one of three mares that was sold into Second Chance's care for the grand total of $1. She and 4 others had escaped from their home and been found wandering. They were impounded and the owner notified however he took back 2 of the horses and left the others to their fate. Luckily for this girl Second Chance was notified of their plight and we contacted the authorities to confirm we would help if we could.

Patience wasn't originally going to come to Second Chance however when nobody turned up to the auction conducted by the council to buy her, the Rangers sold her to Second Chance to provide her with a better life. Patience will be with us for short term care as she is in excellent health. We have found that Patience is not started under saddle and is very wary of people she doesn't know and so she has been undergoing some additional handling to help with this. Soon Patience will have her under saddle work done and she will then find a great new home.
