Second Chance's Krypton

Biography

Krypton was one of 19 horses and ponies surrendered to Second Chance from the RSPCA of Western Australia, all the animals coming from the same original owner. Second Chance and the RSPCA worked together for some weeks leading up to the rescue and Second Chance had also assisted the Animal Welfare Unit over 12 months before on some of these equines, collecting evidence and offering our equine knowledge to assist with the investigation. Eventually the owner opted to surrender a large number of equines as a part of an operation to reduce herd numbers to a manageable level. The equines were collected by Second Chance volunteers and fostered immediately into specialist care.

Krypton was completely unhandled until the day we were asked to remove him from the property, he was underweight, wormy and very frightened.

Adopted!

Krypton has been Adopted by a fantastic new family, who have big plans for this handsome little man. He is to be registered with two colour societies, and a breed society and his handling continued. Krypton will make it to the show ring when he is ready for in-hand competition and then later will be started to saddle when he's old enough and his education and life experiences continued! Keep an eye out for Krypton when he makes his show ring debute!
