Biography

Julius came to Second Chance after he had been abandoned by his owner. After speaking to some people who had known the horse for some time, it has been revealed that Julius' owner has neglected his needs for several years, leaving his wellbeing up to people who couldn't bear to see him go without feed and care. He has been living on a shoestring for some time, surviving on the good will of other people.

When the legalities had been sorted out, many months after his owner had disappeared, he was surrendered to Second Chance for a new life. Julius has proven to be a sweet natured, people loving horse that clearly has been starved of love for some time.

Due to having melanomas we cannot say how long Julius will be with us. Due to this he has been retired as an SC permanent resident where he lives out his days on a large property enjoying life as a paddock pal to another horse.
