Jack

Second Chance's Jack Sparrow

Biography

Little Jack was found as he wandered up a random driveway one day and made himself at home. As he was able to scuttle under the fences (built to keep Clydesdales in) and was so timid it took a while for his temporary new home to catch him. Jack was advertised in all the relevant places but nobody came to claim this adorable little colt. He was impounded with a local SC carer and member and the hunt continued for his true owners.

After a month of searching altogether, it was decided that Jack's true owners were not going to come for him and so he became property of Second Chance. Jack's baby halter was so tight on his face that when his carers did manage to catch him, he bled as it was removed. Jack required a fair bit of handling and socialisation before he could go to a new home as he was timid and reletively unhandled. He was also quite aggressive with other animals close to his size as he felt threatened and did not know how to behave.

Jack was castrated, vaccinated, underwent some socialisation and handling and was then placed in an Adoptive home.
