Biography

Indi was brought to our attention when we were contacted asking if we could help with him as he was in poor condition, needed specialist care and his owner had walked away from him, abandoning him without any attempt whatsoever to rehome or provide for him 6 months earlier, claiming she no longer wanted him. On our initial visit we found that the property owner and other agistees had been doing their best to ensure he had feed and water and he was also in a well pastured paddock but they could not afford to vet or provide dental work for a horse they didn't own.

We spent several days attempting to get in touch with his owner who wouldn't answer her phone and wouldn't return our calls. Eventually we tracked the owner down to their workplace and finally got the paperwork signed to have him surrendered into our care.
