Harlequin
Second Chance's Harlequin |
|
Biography |
Harlequin and his dam Destiny were purchased by a very concerned member of the public and then brought to Second Chance for rehabilitation. Their former owner was unable to provide everything they needed for good care and both were in terrible condition. Harlequin was underweight and very weak. Very shortly before his rescue, he was finding it difficult to keep his feet, was very lethargic and was not receiving much sustenance from his mother who was unable to produce much milk for him. Harlequin was wormy and at three months of age had never had a human hand on him. His first contact with people was to be haltered the day he was purchased and Harlequin put up very little resistance, he didn't have the energy to protest. |
