Echo
Second Chance's Echo |
|
Biography |
Echo was broken in the old fashioned way. He had gear thrown on, one foreleg tied up so he was forced to hop on three legs and then a rider got on with no prep work whatsoever. Echo was beaten cruelly when he tried to buck and learned that if he cannot get a rider off by bucking, he will throw himself on the ground to squash them. Echo then moved around a bit from home to home and a series of trainers whom were unable to change his habits. Echo then suffered a cut on the shoulder which was left untreated and finally he was surrendered to Second Chance when the slaughterhouse refused to take him as they cannot take greys. Echo is now starting rehabilitiation work and we will rebuild his trust and understanding of humans from the very beginning again. |
