Domino
Second Chance's Domino |
|
Biography |
Domino came to Second Chance when his owners surrendered him to our care as he did not suit their needs as they were unable to get him to canter and he was a little nervous and difficult at times. We agreed to take him on as he was suffering a painful lameness which we were told was laminitis. His old owners were not in a position to care for him and were determined that one way or another he would leave their care that week. Domino was suffering a very large abcess on his near fore and overgrown and badly bruised hooves. After seeing a Master Farrier and a Veterinarian, Domino is now well on the mend and will
be sound once the hole left by the abcess has grown out. We found out that Domino had been very difficult to break in a few months earlier and then would not perform as his previous owner's wanted him
to and no wonder with such agonising pain in his hooves.
