Biography

This handsome gelding was surrendered to Second Chance by the Shire Rangers. He had been found wandering the roads and was impounded but his owners never came to claim him.

We have since heard from a previous owner of Darkan's who told us she had been forced to rehome him and had thought she'd found the perfect home for him with two competant looking people. When she realised they had left the rugs they'd purchased with him behind she tried to drop the rugs off to them only to find the address they had given did not exist, the agistment centre they'd said he was going to had never heard of them and the phone number was disconnected. Approximately one month later Darkan was found and impounded, his new owners never coming to find him.

Darkan has been Adopted!

Darkan's temporary foster carers loved him so much that they applied to Adopt him as a pleasure horse. Darkan has settled in very well with his new equine and human family and they're exceptionally happy with him in all respects.
