Biography

Copper was brought to our attention by a lady who had her own horse on the same property. He had been abandoned on the property approximately 3 years ago and now the property owner was selling up and moving, and was not in a position to provide him with a home.

Nobody knew who Copper's original owner was, and after several months of attempting to find his owner failed, the lady then tried to find him a new home. With the deadline of him having to be moved looming ever closer and nobody interested in providing this lovely boy a home Second Chance accepted his surrender.

We have since found out that Copper who was registered but never named, is the half brother to a champion harness racing horse and himself has incredible lines so it is even more strange that he was abandoned seeing as once he was worth a lot of money!
