Belle

Second Chance's Belle

Biography

Belle came to us quite suddenly as we received a call late one afternoon from a Real Estate office saying that a previous tenant of a rental they managed had moved out and left the mare behind. The tenant had faxed the office stating that they refused to take her with them, relinquishing ownership to whomever the Office saw fit and instantly passing any and all responsibility for the mare at the time of moving.

Belle has what appears to be a rope burn around her throat and upper neck, the source of which suspect was caused by her previous owners trying to force her into the float and neglected hooves, she also had severe emotional trauma and was completely terrified of horse floats, refusing to get on one completely. She was in otherwise great condition and we know very little about her as no racing history came up in our search. She may have raced in the eastern states but we don't know.
