Second Chance Horse Rescue Inc. is a small Incorporated, non profit organisation dedicated to the welfare of all equines in Western Australia. We are run entirely by unpaid Volunteers and we are a self funded organisation. We are governed by a constitution and a management committee comprised of dedicated individuals with a variety of skills relevant to our aims.
We also have a range of services in place to assist all horse owners on many levels. If you are in need of help in regards to any equine related issue we are willing to help. Please click on the services link above to find out more about this.

Mission Statement |
Second Chance Horse Rescue Inc. is an independent organisation who aims to promote and educate the public on horse welfare throughout Western Australia to help reduce neglect, abandonment and abuse of the animals. We also aim to work in conjunction with similar organisations to provide sanctuary and all necessary care, training and medical attention required to as many abused, neglected and abandoned horses and ponies as possible.

SC Beginner Hack & Novelty Day - Results!

Thanks to everyone who sponsored and participated on our Fun Day. Second Chance was able to raise a total profit of $3,507.67!

26th June 2009 - Young gelding surrendered to SC
A young Thoroughbred gelding was surrendered to SC when his owner called asking for help, unable to provide him with basic care. Please click here to find out more.
24th June 2009 - Abandoned Gelding Surrended to SC
A young Standardbred gelding abandoned at the Pound was surrendered to SC's care today. Due to his good condition and temperment we expect he won't be too hard to rehome once we
